Walton is an internationally recognised centre of excellence for ICT research and innovation which has been operating for over 25 years in South East Technological University (SETU). Walton undertakes cutting edge research blending fundamental science with real world commercial applications for today’s society becoming a major driver in the emergence of a telecommunications industry in the South East of Ireland.

At QIA Walton Institute SETU in collaboration with other partners will contribute to building a digital twin simulation to enable performance assessment and technical feasibility analyses of quantum networks.
