At QIA, UPM, in collaboration with other partners, will contribute to the design of a novel architecture for future quantum information networks that integrates QKD with entanglement distribution. The proposed architecture will combine the maturity and practical deployment of QKD systems with the advanced capabilities enabled by entanglement distribution, including quantum repeaters and other quantum applications.
