CNR participates through two institutes: IIT (iit.cnr.it), which focuses on designing and benchmarking algorithms and protocols for the quantum Internet, and INO (ino.cnr.it), which develops practical quantum communication technologies for fiber networks, including the generation, manipulation, and storage of entangled states.In QIA, CNR is involved in testing and benchmarking of quantum network protocols and providing open access to pilot facilities.
