Join QIA’s first global Quantum Internet Application Challenge!
We invite all quantum internet enthusiasts to be creative and share your most innovative quantum internet application ideas!
Your ideas could be your ticket to an internship or a research visit to one of our participating QIA partners. QIA will cover travel and accommodation cost of up to 5,000 EUR!
We will formally open the registration in early September, but you can already express your interest now by filling out the form below. Once open, the challenge will run for six (6) weeks.

Who can join the competition?
The competition is open to anyone interested and we will have two challenges for different skill levels!
Note that because of the nature of the main prize we can only accept individual contributions, no team contributions.
What skills are required to work on the challenge?
In order to win the main prize some familiarity with the Python programming language and some background in quantum mechanics is required. As part of the challenge you will be working with SquidASM, QIA’s application simulator. If you haven’t used SquidASM before then you can read about it here.
