The Quantum Internet Alliance Technology Forum (QIATF) invites you to the Welcome Webinar of its Special Interest Group on Space (SIG Space).
The Welcome Webinar marks the start of the SIG’s next phase, following the public relaunch of QIATF and its Special Interest Groups at Q-Expo 2026.
SIG Space aims to be a trusted forum where the space and quantum communities share expertise, identify common challenges, and prepare for the integration of space links into the future Quantum Internet.
During the session, the SIG Space Chair (TNO) and Vice-Chair (ESA) representatives will present the vision and strategic objectives of SIG Space, the 2026-2027 implementation work plan, and the roles and levels of engagement for members. They will also speak about the opportunities to contribute to upcoming activities and Work Packages.
The 90-minute session ends with an open discussion and live Q&A, and it is open to current members, organisations interested in joining, and the wider quantum and space ecosystem.
