Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT) is a national research institute in Portugal, rated Excellent in its international assessments. It promotes research & development, as well as advanced training, in all aspects of Telecommunications. It has strong expertise in quantum information theory, quantum networks and quantum communications, as well as in all aspects of classical communications. The participation of IT in QIA is coordinated by the Physics of Information and Quantum Technologies Group.
