QIA Partners Convene for the 2025 PI+ Meeting

On 13–14 October 2025, QIA gathered principal investigators from all partner institutions, together with invited contributors closely involved in the technical work, for the annual PI+ Meeting at the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI) in The Hague.
Over two days, participants reviewed the progress of QIA’s major activities, including network development, system integration, innovation efforts and emerging use cases. The QIA Coordination Team provided an update on upcoming milestones and the evolving structure for the next project phase.
Beyond the plenary discussions, attendees joined focused breakout sessions to exchange insights, align priorities and strengthen collaboration across the consortium. These sessions allowed partners to discuss ongoing challenges, share progress from their respective teams and identify the most promising next steps for advancing Europe’s quantum internet objectives.
The meeting concluded with a closing session that summarised key outcomes and reinforced the shared goals that will guide work in the coming year.
The PI+ Meeting demonstrated the strong engagement and commitment across the QIA community as it continues building the foundations of a future European quantum internet.
