Our Building for One Europe QIA Internship Programme 2025 is now open for applications!

Explore the nine (9) internship opportunities at QIA sites in seven (7) countries across Europe, and get the chance to be part of our moonshot mission of building the world’s first quantum internet!

This year’s opportunities offer hands-on experience in quantum technologies, including nanophotonics, quantum communication, computing and sensing. Successful interns will have a chance to engage in experimental and theoretical work across materials science, device fabrication, protocol development and system control.

These programmes are ideal for those with a strong interest in physics, engineering, or computing and quantum science.

So, if you are a master student, a PhD candidate, a postdoc or a young professional studying or working at a university, research institution or a company in one of the eligible countries*, you may be qualified to apply to any of the opportunities listed below. QIA will support your internship with a maximum of 5,000 EUR to cover for travel, accommodation and other expenses.

Once you made your choice, send an application by sending your CV (max 2 pages) and motivation letter to info@quantuminternetalliance.org on or before 31 May 2025. Kindly write “INTERNSHIP APPLICATION” on the subject line of your email.
