Get ready for the Quantum Internet Application Challenge 2024

Are you a quantum internet enthusiast? While waiting for the Quantum Internet Application Challenge 2024, you can already practice and have fun with the Foundation Challenge.

 

The Quantum Internet Foundation Challenge has been designed to guide you through the use of SquidASM, QIA’s Application Simulator, in order to test your skills and prepare you for the QIA Application Challenge 2024, opening on Wednesday 6 November. Read on to find out all the details!

About the Foundation Challenge

In the Foundation Challenge you will implement the anonymous transmission protocol and use SquidASM to investigate the error tolerance of the protocol. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of attendance. For the full description, read this page.

Who can join?

Quantum enthusiasts with basic familiarity with Python and SquidASM.

If you are new to SquidASM, we recommend that you follow the installation guide on the GitHub page and explore our tutorial. We’ve also released a new series of video tutorials (videos 11-16) to help you: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5jmbd6SJYnMW3p28I5CUBK8kC6b9wHjs

How to submit your entry

Sign up in the form below and send us your submission before 20 November 23:59 CET (UTC+01:00). The submission should consist of a GitHub repository containing your solution code. The GitHub link should be sent to info@quantuminternetalliance.org before the submission deadline.
