IQT The Hague features numerous talks, panel discussions participated by QIA members
QIA booth showcases QuTech's diamond chip, ICFO's quantum memory crystal
Over 25 QIA members participated in 12 talks and panel discussions in the recently held Inside Quantum Technology (IQT) The Hague 2024 from the 22nd to 24th of April 2024 in Postillion Hotel and Conference Centre Den Hague.
QIA Director Stephanie Wehner gave a keynote speech titled, “Paving the road to quantum internet”, and highlighted QIA’s activities and achievements. The rest of the QIA members gave talks or joined panel discussions on quantum internet, quantum networks in business, testbeds, emerging technologies, among others.
A dedicated session on the QIA Technology Forum: engaging with quantum internet ecosystem was also held on Day 2 with our Innovation Manager Vlora Rexhepi-Van der Pol as moderator, and QIA members Stephan Ritter and Mathias Van Den Bossche as panel members. Alessandra Matteis from QTI s.r.l. also joined the discussion.
Aside from high visibility on stage, QIA also organised a booth showcasing the diamond chip from TU Delft/QuTech and quantum memory crystal from ICFO. The diamond chip and the quantum memory crystal are key components of the recent ground breaking demonstrations by Ronald Hanson’s group in Delft and Hugues de Riedmatten’s group in Barcelona. These demonstrations were also presented at the IQT.
